Parish Pastoral Council 2026 Nomination Form

Parish Pastoral Councils emerged widely after Second Vatican Council to strengthen the Church’s mission and encourage all parishioners to live their universal call to discipleship. Fr James established
our Parish Advisory Board as a first step, guiding us faithfully through Covid, the Take the Way of the Gospel process, and our Jubilee Year celebrations. As our parish grows, it is now time to align with
the wider Archdiocese by forming a Parish Pastoral Council—Christ-centred, inclusive, and missionfocused. Faith Formation will be vital, supported by an Archdiocesan facilitator who will help us discern needs, shape pastoral plans, and strengthen our community. A Parish Pastoral Council is a key consultative and planning body. Drawn from the parish community, its members serve to help carry forward the mission of Jesus Christ, working co-responsibly with the Parish Priest. Fr James now invites parishioners to express interest in joining a PPC of approximately eight to ten members. While these parishioners will take on a particular leadership role, they will need the support of us all, for each of us is called to continue Christ’s work... Read more

Coburg Parish consists of 5 communities, made up of parishioners (both who reside within and outside the parish zone), young, old, and all ages in-between.
